Wide plank oak engineered board in Hamsterley, County Durham

This wide plank engineered oak floor, 240mm x20mm random lengths was fitted in a farmhouse in Hamsterley Village, Weardale

It was fitted throughout the ground floor which was a bit of a challenge because the sub-floor was very uneven.  We had to level the floors out by screeding 3 times prior to wood plank  fitting. The boards were fitted directly onto the concrete with ms polymer flexable glue.

Finally this wide plank engineered oak floor was then sanded and finished with 10% sheen hardwax oil with four coats lightly sanded between coats to give this fantastic look.We have done many jobs of wood floor fitting in durham/north east in farms and barn conversions whether it is parquet flooring or floor sanding and sealing and full antique floor restoration we are specialistes in our field and work national.Floorcraft(ne) have done many reclaimed parquet flooring projects in London/manchester and leeds
