Rare species parquet

Floorcraft (NE) has recently completed its first flooring project in Switzerland, in the small industrial town of Schonenwaerd.

The materials used were reclaimed were an endangered species very similar to walnut which is no longer available as a new floor species.  The blocks had to be hand scrapped to remove the original bitumen from the back of the blocks.  The floor was 82 square metres fitted through a lounge, dining room, kitchen, landing, toilet, stairs and porch.

The parquet flooring was laid in a herringbone design with double block border following the perimeter of all the rooms with a soldier course in door ways.We are parquet flooring company based in Durham city we also do full floor restoration and floor sanding and sealing in Durham/north east, national and europe. We have completed many reclaimed parquet flooring jobs in london and south England.
